Interesting week of finishing projects

Hey all,
This week has been an interesting week, i finished my Gir Beanie, Mr Hankey and also completed my first row of my blanket (14days wide) then i was thinking about what i might make for my new project so i was doing alot of research and i found something to make my neice for her birthday next sunday which also happens to be my Fiances birthday aswell. I am at a little lose of what to make him as his not a big fan of something non useful and ive already make him a scarf and its summer here.

Anyways to my first completed project i have my Gir Beanie. It was great stitching this and is something im certainly going to make again. Here is a few pictures of the completed project.

Next was my Mr Hankey project, I had to find a decent enough pattern for a christmas hat which was hard as i didnt know what size they were going to turn out as, So i found one pattern and make it and turned out to be a great size. So i got to putting it all together. This was a late birthday gift for my dad has his a fan of South Park. Im really happy with how he turned out. Here is his picture.

With my blanket i have made the decision to make it 14 squares wide (2wks) and 26 rows long (26 fortnights in the year) and a few days ago i completed my first row and i was really happy with how it turned out. Here is some of my sqaures before the row completed,

This is a picture of my first completed row of my year blanket.

The xbox controller is for scale of how big the row is.

Next is my last four sqaures and the first of the next row :)

I hope you all are enjoying the excitement of watching this blanket grow.

My next project is for my niece and i found a Rarity pony from My Little Pony series as she is a massive fan. Here is what it will look like when i finish it.

I only started this project last night so i havnt gotten far, I have only completed the head and this is my progress so far.

i will be starting the ears tomorrow before heading to work.

Thats all for this week. Hope you enjoyed the read and watching my projects come to life (so to speak). Until next week.

Jamie
