Interesting week of finishing projects

Hey all,
This week has been an interesting week, i finished my Gir Beanie, Mr Hankey and also completed my first row of my blanket (14days wide) then i was thinking about what i might make for my new project so i was doing alot of research and i found something to make my neice for her birthday next sunday which also happens to be my Fiances birthday aswell. I am at a little lose of what to make him as his not a big fan of something non useful and ive already make him a scarf and its summer here.

Anyways to my first completed project i have my Gir Beanie. It was great stitching this and is something im certainly going to make again. Here is a few pictures of the completed project.

Next was my Mr Hankey project, I had to find a decent enough pattern for a christmas hat which was hard as i didnt know what size they were going to turn out as, So i found one pattern and make it and turned out to be a great size. So i got to putting it all together. This was a late birthday gift for my dad has his a fan of South Park. Im really happy with how he turned out. Here is his picture.

With my blanket i have made the decision to make it 14 squares wide (2wks) and 26 rows long (26 fortnights in the year) and a few days ago i completed my first row and i was really happy with how it turned out. Here is some of my sqaures before the row completed,

This is a picture of my first completed row of my year blanket.

The xbox controller is for scale of how big the row is.

Next is my last four sqaures and the first of the next row :)

I hope you all are enjoying the excitement of watching this blanket grow.

My next project is for my niece and i found a Rarity pony from My Little Pony series as she is a massive fan. Here is what it will look like when i finish it.

I only started this project last night so i havnt gotten far, I have only completed the head and this is my progress so far.

i will be starting the ears tomorrow before heading to work.

Thats all for this week. Hope you enjoyed the read and watching my projects come to life (so to speak). Until next week.

Hey all,First off im sorry i didnt post yesterday  (to anyone that is actually following this) as i was just too busy and lost track of time.

Well this week has been interesting i havnt had much time to crochet this week but i did get a lot done, First off ive been completing my blanket and its going great currently im up to 11 sqaures across and today will be the 12th. Its going to be 14 across and that will be how wide the blanket will be. Here is my currently picture of my progress.

Im getting excited about how this is coming out and cant wait till it bigger xD.

During this week ive had three other project i was completing, First off was my gir amigurumi that i showed you progress in the last week and how he was coming along, well thursday last week i finally was able to buy the materials that i need to finish him off and i completed him last night, im very happy with his turn out and ive been asked to make another for a friend :)

Second off i was doing my Gir Beanie, i had completed the actually beanie part but then had ran out of yarn so had to wait again, i finished off the earflaps last night, aswell as all the extras that i needed, ie. eyes, nose, ears, tounge. Now today after i post this ill be making the black boarder around the beanie then putting it all together. If anyone would like to see this before my next post on Sunday please feel free to check my fb page https://www.facebook.com/groups/262387177204336/ or my instagram (mzjatz)

Lastly i was thinking of something that i could make my dad as a last bday present, i was going to make him a Kenny from southpark but i couldnt find a pattern in English so i was just searching my forums and sites im on and i came across Mr Hankey and i thought this would be perfect! so i got crocheting. So far i have only completed him body, today i will be doing this arms and his xmas hat as this pattern was from his xmas special and he should be finished tonight aswell.

So this is what my last week has been like crocheting, as for this week im not sure whats in store i have nothing on list and 3days off work so i guess we shall just see what comes up :) I hope that you all enjoyed this weeks work and please feel free to comment and leave suggests for new projects :)

First (half) Week of 2015

Hey all! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope you all had a great christmas and new year celebrations. Well this week it turns out i did alot of stitching, First of i decided that i would make a little Gir (Invaders Zim) in his puppy suit. As he won the little challenge i set on FB with all my friends and family. So i got making.

This is the first face panel and i used a lighter for scale:

This is the face completed, at first i wasnt sure what it would turn out like or how it was actually meant to go together but it turned out good.

This is the body all together with his arms and legs with his ears. He turned out so good i think.
And her is all complete with his eyes, I can not complete him till end of next week as i need felt and dont get paid until then so his been put on hold for the time being.

So after gir was put aside i was thinking that i wmight make a little present for someone i know and was getting the pattern sent to me via FB but i started it then it turned out wrong soi only got a lil into it and had to put that aside aswell :(

Then i decided i would make a Gir Beanie/Hat to go with my amigurumi. So i went online and found this great pattern and i got stitching yesterday, i almost got the beanie complete and i ran out of green yarn! So now its half on hold till payday aswell. This is the current process till i ran outta yarn:
So then i got on the start of his eyes to be attached, got both of them done as well as the pupils.
All i need now to to make his ears, and get the yarn to finish the ears flaps, and i really cant wait till he is completed!

On the first of January i got an idea about making a blanket, ive come around the idea of mood blankets last year and its a granny sqaure in a colour that represents the mood you felt that day of the year and you do one everyday for the whole year and attach as you go to make a massive nice blanket to remind you of the passed year. Now of this idea i thought i would do something similar but cause im really bad at picking colours to match my moods i thought i would just stitch a square a day, so i got started and made two. Then it got to yesterday and it was my first day off this year as i work in retail and only had xmas day off, anyways i thought why dont i find different and unquire sqaures to represent my days off. So as today is the 4th day of the year and currently my second day off This is the current process of my year blanket.
Im hoping to find alot more different sqaures to do or at least do some in different colours.

Well i hoped you enjoyed this week of stitching and i shall see you next week. Also if anyone is interested i do an instagram and post procress pictures of all my work. MzJatz.
